WHY SOME PEOPLE STILL REMAIN POOR PART 1

There are a whole of lot people who complain of being broke or not having enough money to get what they want.
Let me even crack you up a little. Do you know that there are couples who carry calculate around when shopping?
It's funny, but that is what it means to be broke. So what are the seven reasons you are still broke?

1. You Have the Wrong Mentality

So when I say financial freedom, what exactly do I mean? To some, financial freedom is the money that their parent’s have. To others, it is their partner’s money. But to me who wasn’t born with a silver spoon and was raised by a single mother and I hard to work hard to achieve what I want today. Financial freedom to me, is the ability to get what I want at any given time without thinking that the price will affect me. Financial freedom is my ability to give my children what they want without waiting for the month end. So what is your own idea of financial freedom? What is financial freedom to one person might be considered luxury to another person. So, the first reason many people remain broke is because they have a wrong mentality towards financial freedom. Financial freedom is what you think it is. But staying broke shouldn’t be an option.

2. Not Taking Responsibility of Financial Future

You read that right. You are not taking full responsibility of your financial future. You are responsible for your life now and in the future. So how are you taking responsibility of that life, your business, your finance? Lets face the fact here, Financial freedom is a responsibility. It is something you must be accountable for. It is something you have to take full responsibility of. So are you working for your money or is your money working for you? If you are a part of the rat race that works all day and not allowed to take a break, then your money is taking full responsibility of you. But if you work for yourself and decide how and when to work then, you have full responsibility of your money.

3. You Think You can Learn in School

If financial freedom can be taught in schools, I can place a bet that all your lecturers and teachers would apply for the course and leave the school system. So can financial freedom be taught in school? Capital No!!! You classes prepared you for paid jobs. It’s a paid job system that prepares you for another paid job. The accountants in training are trained to count people’s money not theirs. The bankers are trained to manage people’s money not theirs. So if financial freedom was taught in school, then all graduates as well as lecturers should be living in castles and driving flying cars.

4. Wrong Investment of Time

Big truth! I once a read an article and the author said, ‘do you know why Lamborghini does not run TV adverts, because the people that have the money to buy Lamborghini don’t have the time to watch TV.’ That article reminded me of the article I read about Mark Zuckerberg, he said he doesn’t watch TV at all. So where exactly are you investing your time. Mark Zuckerberg spends his time on making his investments better. I spend mine on reading, training, personal development and helping others. So where exactly are you investing your time?

5. You Feel Intimidated by the Rich

Some people have made up their minds that rich people are proud. Rich people have their clique. Rich people only follow rich friends.

Well stop thinking for them. Never judge a book by its cover. Never be intimidated by the rich people. Try to network. Show them the value you have to offer.

Except you know you are willing to be broke for life, then run away from the rich.

6. You Are a 9-5 Person

I have been telling my friends that, you can never force everyone to become rich. Some people are conditioned to work all their lives. Right from when they were kids, they have seen their parents work and they believe the only route to financial freedom is by working for one person. So if your mind has been conditioned to work 9-5, if your mind has been conditioned to the rat race mentality. Then by means continue, but I know people who work that hard and end up using that money to treat themselves. I have seen people who work that hard and retire broke. So what is your mentality to work?

7. You Are Not Offering Value

Do you want to know the one thing that attract people to you? Value. So if you have value to offer, then money is not a problem. But if all you have are certificates, then you are on the wrong lane. Nobody pays you based on certificates. They want to know your abilities. They want to see what you can do. They want to test your creativity, your smartness and others. So if all you have is a pile of certificates without value to offer, then you have no choice than to stay broke.
As time goes on,   you will be enlightened more on how to add value to your self, create and manage your wealth.
